Outemu Silent Peach Linear Switches

Outemu Silent Peach switches are the premier choice for users who crave a whisper-quiet typing experience without sacrificing a smooth, linear feel. These switches utilize internal silicone dampeners to drastically reduce the noise of both the downstroke and the upstroke, making them nearly silent. With a "featherweight" 40g actuation force, they provide a soft, effortless glide that is perfect for professional office environments or late-night gaming sessions where noise is a concern.

Key Features of Outemu Silent Peach Switches:

  • Advanced Silencing Technology: Integrated silicone pads on the stem rails dampen noise to under 35dB—quieter than a standard rubber dome keyboard.
  • Featherlight Linear Feel: A 40g actuation force provides a light, airy touch that reduces finger fatigue during extended typing or gaming marathons.
  • 5-Pin PCB Mount Design: Features two extra plastic stability pins for a more secure fit on the PCB, significantly reducing switch tilt and keycap wobble.
  • Factory Lubed & Smooth: Comes pre-lubed from the factory to ensure a silky-smooth travel right out of the box with zero "scratchy" auditory feedback.

Compatible Keyboards

Outemu Silent Peach switches are compatible with mechanical keyboards that support 5-pin MX-style switches. Popular examples include:

  • Keychron (Q, V, and K Pro series)
  • Glorious GMMK Pro and GMMK 2
  • Custom enthusiast PCBs (e.g., DZ60, GK61, Tiger80)

Note: These switches use a 5-pin design. If your keyboard only supports 3-pin switches (like older Redragon or Tecware models), you can easily modify them by clipping the two small plastic side pins with flush cutters.

Why Choose Outemu Silent Peach Switches?

If you love the feel of a mechanical keyboard but need to keep the peace at home or in the office, the Silent Peach is the "stealth" option you’ve been looking for. They trade the traditional "clack" for a muted, pillowy thud that feels incredibly satisfying. At 40g, they are significantly lighter than Outemu Blacks, making them ideal for those who prefer a rapid, low-resistance keystroke.

Ideal for Office Professionals and Stealth Gamers

Whether you're typing up reports in a shared workspace or pulling an all-nighter in a quiet house, Outemu Silent Peach switches deliver a high-performance experience without the noise. They are the go-to choice for users who want maximum stealth, superior stability via the 5-pin mount, and a buttery-smooth linear press.

About 5-Pin switches

5-Pin switches add two extra plastic legs for increased stability, making them ideal for PCB-mounted keyboards without a metal plate. They reduce wobbling and provide a firmer typing experience but may need pin trimming for 3-Pin-compatible boards.

Frequently asked questions

What do the Outemu Silent Peach Linear Switches feel like?

Linear, so the keypress travels straight down with no bump and no click. It is the quietest of the three switch types and the usual choice for gaming, because there is nothing interrupting the stroke.

That makes the Outemu Silent Peach Linear Switches a linear switch - if you have used a linear switch before and liked it, these will feel familiar.

They actuate at 40g, which counts as a light switch.

As a rough guide, under 45g is light and fast but easier to press by accident, 45-60g suits most people for both typing and gaming, and above 60g is deliberate and firm - popular with heavy-handed typists who want to avoid mistakes.

The key registers after 2mm and bottoms out at 3.3mm of total travel.

A shorter actuation distance means the keypress is picked up sooner, which is why speed switches shorten it for gaming. A longer one gives you more room to rest your fingers on the keys without triggering them.

Yes - these come lubed from the factory, so they feel smooth straight out of the packet.

Factory lube reduces the slight scratchiness of a bare switch and quietens spring ping. You can still hand-lube them if you want the absolute smoothest result, but for most people they are ready to fit as they are.

These are 5-pin (PCB mount) switches.

It has five pins: two metal contact pins, a central plastic post and two extra plastic legs. Those extra legs locate the switch firmly on a PCB-mounted board. If your keyboard only has three holes per switch, you can clip the two outer plastic legs off with flush cutters and it will fit any 3-pin board.

This listing is sold in packs of 1, 5, 10, 35, 70, 90, 110.

As a guide: a 60% keyboard needs about 61-68 switches, a TKL about 87, and a full-size board about 104. It is worth ordering a few spare in case one is faulty or you lose one during the build. If you only want to try the feel before committing, buy a single switch first.
